There is a version of uLe that you can burn on a CD (uLaunchELF v4.40 CD): With uLe you can copy latest beta to a memory card. Here you can find latest BETA version:. Rename 'OPL.ELF' into 'BOOT.ELF' Copy it into 'mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF'. With DEV1 mode boot OPL.

Here is a Matrix Infinity Usage Tutorial:. EDIT: Since you have your DVD lens died, your CD may also. In attachment I'm uploading latest wLe from here:. And a config file for OPL, to run wLe from OPL. In case you'll need to copy something from MC USB HDD. Copy 'confapps.cfg' into OPL folder (mc0:/OPL) and 'wLe-040718.ELF' into BOOT folder (mc0:/BOOT). Start OPL, go to Setting, Application start mode.
Change it to Auto. Save changes. Now you should have wLe in Apps bookmark. It's not called anything with 'bank'.
It's DEV.1 and DEV.2. ('modes') NEITHER of both modes modes store the ELFs on the chip! Only DMS4-PRO and CC with a bigger Flash-Memory supported ELFs on there.

The correct paths and names are these: DEV.1 = mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF DEV.2 = hdd0:/boot/boot.elf NOTHING ELSE WILL WORK, because the filenames and if they are written in caps or not DOES MATTER and I've seen, that the wrong name has been given to you before! As for DEV.2.
You need to install an ELF there, using the 'MI-DEV.2-Installer' if you had NEVER activated DEV.2 on your PS2. It should only be necessary for the very first time and later you can manually replace the installed ELF! Since your laser seems to be about to 'die', you might try FMCB/FHDB as well!
1.953 is still working quite well with the MI and Clones!
